Lean Six SigmaThe application of improvement methods like LeanSixSigma need to take into account that there are structural differences with regard to customer involvement, input and output variability, etc. This paper presents a contingency framework that show how these structural difference can be analysed and could impact the improvement methods used. It demonstrates the framework using an unusual application domain: education.
