Quick Response Manufacturing Seminar @ NTNU

On 22nd of June, a seminar on Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM) organised by EuroLEAN+ was held at NTNU in Trondheim. Over 50 participants from Norwegian companies got the opportunity to learn about Lean in Customised Manufacturing. First, Erlend Alfnes (Project leader, NTNU) gave an introduction to the EuroLEAN+ project. Then, Gu van Rhijn (Industry partner & Steering board member, TNO) presented some examples on flexible production at the assembly line. Afterwards, Vincent Wiegel (Chair of Steering board, HAN University of Applied Sciences)  and Aldert van der Stoel (Project team member, HAN University of Applied Sciences) explained QRM and the QRM Scan method. At the QRM workshop, the participants had the chance to analyse their company and discuss problems that they have encountered at the manufacturing processes work.
